Lactation Consultants and Peer Counselors are on staff to provide breastfeeding education and support at no cost for WIC clients.


Why breastfeed?


The benefits of breastfeeding extend well beyond basic nutrition. In addition to providing all the vitamins and nutrients your baby needs in the first six months of life, breast milk is full of disease-fighting substances that protect your baby from illness.
